A simple yet powerful sonic shock pistol, the Leonardo is one of the many improvements made upon current military-use weapons by Tobas Langrave. The Leonardo, an improvement of the LS-8 sonic shock revolver pistol, is designed for high forward output, low decibular recoil, and a low spread, making it an ideal long-range stun weapon or short-range damage weapon. The additions of the adjustable weight barrel and digit stabilizer make the weapon very accurate as well.

This is just a capgun I repainted and added a couple small parts to. Tried to perfect my wood on the handle. Nothing huge, but a quickie project I did to settle my head while doing educational research.

Very nice. if you don't mind: Where did you get / What make is the cap gun?

I live in Australia, and I've seen a few of these Steamed up -and would like to try to do one myself.

Cheers.

I am fully impressed with your work in this project .
The balance in color and contrast would translate very well on film ..
I wish you the best that you may contract proper recognition in the cinematography realm .
You deserve it !

In the last few months, I've found a weakness for Revolvers and Steampunk.... This fits my needs perfectly! :D
Awesome work as always, Spence!

Wonderful work. The color scheme is awesome. What paint did you use for the front barrel?

I'd recommend adding lighter color highlights into the wood handle to differentiate grain better, like buttercream or antique white.

Front barrel, and all of the gold, is a mixture of Krylon textured copper, gold, and silver. Different gradients are all that differentiate those gold areas.

I may try for a better grain next time. For now, this was a very quick in-between project that was only really done so I'd feel productive. :p

Excellent shape and color - very western while at the same time protrudey and mechanical. I especially like the split between metal and wood on the grip - how it's almost a wooden undercarriage like a pirate pistol.
