The Gun of Batalla by LandgraveCustoms The Gun of Batalla by LandgraveCustoms
#12: The Gun of Batalla (2011)

Base: Lanard Shell Shock

CYBERPUNK STORY TIME!

The Gun of Batalla is a Chinese War Pistol turned into the world's first Sub-Rifle class gun by Spanish freedom-fighter/terrorist Aureliano Batalla in the year 2096.

In 2083, China capped off its rule of Asia and Europe with the acquisition of Spain. This was seen as the last allied loss in World War III before the Treaty of Cho in 2084, which effectively handed all of Europe and Asia to The Conglomerated Nations of China and Japan, headed by the dictator Kang Zu Xian. The Spanish loss was particularly painful because the only weapon the Chinese used was an outdated Chinese War Pistol, so worthless and useless that after the battle, Chinese soldiers literally left the spent guns lying all over the battleground.

Batalla was the first rebel to attempt to assassinate Kang Zu Xian. He was also the last. With a modified version of the very model of pistol used to capture his home, he ended the reign of Kang Zu Xian. He was quickly arrested and executed, but the upset was enough that it triggered the Perfect French Rebellion and, eventually, the European Reclamation Movement (ERM).

When the War of European Reclamation ended in 2103 and the Reunited European National Conglomerate (RENC) was formed, their national flag bore Batalla's legendary gun.

And now the part you care about... the stats!

This is probably one of my favourite dart gun mods..... I love how it harks back to older guns like the Nambu and Mauser Broomhandle but still manages to look futuristic :D

Your work is so cool! I would try to make one for my son's but I'm scared they would get in trouble with it. I can imagine them toting that thing down the street and being swarmed by cops...

A common obstacle, but an easily avoided one. There are many ways to avoid issues. Here's my best tips:

- Leave the tips orange. Either cover the tip with orange paint/tape or tape over the tip before painting so it isn't touched by the paint. This is the universal sign of "Not A Real Gun".
- When in doubt, tend towards fantastical colors and designs. Never paint an outside-use toy blaster black or silver. Most of my work is used for display or as movie props; my personal outside-use blaster is bright blue with green accents.
- Teach your sons proper "Don't Be Stupid" behavior. Don't play in public areas with replica firearms, don't run from police, don't fire darts at any non-consenting party.

Mods and Props don't have to be dangerous, even if they do look sorta like guns. Just be safe and nothing's gonna happen. Incidentally, if you want any pointers or help or just wanna show off, feel free to contact me; I'm always hapy to lend a hand.

about how easy is it to get a hold of one of these? because I just might want to change my idea from a LMG and a shotty to that, plus a pistol.

Thanks! It was cool when it was made but it was an earlier piece so it was all glued together and fell apart recently. Its body was integrated into other weapons since, but I might do another ShellShock mod if I can find another one cheap.
