This, my friends, is for a very lucky client, but I must say, it's the Pistol I'd make for myself if I was going to carry a pistol in costume. I think the client is going to be thrilled- I certainly am. ^_^

did you replace the entire front end of did you put the shazam on top of the original blaster?

On top. Meaning, it still works, though loading is a bit annoying. But, it's meant as a prop with no on-screen loading, so, less important.

I only have 1 critique. The flintlock plate, is actually vey soft material, so you could use a barrel sanding bit on a rotary tool to smooth out the stamped print before painting. Other than that, its awesome!

Probably not a bad idea. But, then again, it WAS made in the USA, so. ;p I kid, though, I probably should sand it out at some point if the customer cares for me to do so. He hasn't said anything about it, though, so.

Looks like it, though many companies used that design and that mold over a long span of time so it might have come from a different model of gun... they're both detached now so we'll never know.
