Misriah Armory M-8

Another shot of the Misriah, this time very close to completion. I double up on the base for scratch-resistance, then I aged the 'polymer' with a dark gray and silver speckle before highlighting some areas in brushed chrome which was aged with two other metal-tinted painted to replicate wear lines. Add in some all-over black and silver dry-brushing and my patented "Throw some actual dirt onto the paint" technique (seriously, though, no patent on that) and this thing turned out looking very used without looking dysfunctional, which was what I was going for.

Last thing to add is the matte-coat to mellow it all out a notch, and the client's logo and "M-8" in bright chrome on flat panels.
