Out of all of my pieces, the one that's gotten the least attention (good or bad) has been the Vermillion, with the only real comment on it being "Hey, is that a Gatorade bottle?". That's a shame because of the intricate build of the Vermillion. The issue is that the Vermillion is a messy gun, because it was made out of a very old and overused base and all of the parts were very much scrap.
So, when I needed to get rid of parts before going home (I can't well bring a box of plastic and metal onto the plane instead of a carryon and I'll be damned if I pay to ship it), I turned to the good ol' Vermillion and slapped some of the remaining parts onto it to make it cooler. It's still a Nitefinder under all that sexy fodder. And it still fires. Plus now its also got a front gun. I call it The Goldenrod and I'll figure out a story when it's done. Because the parts are so dirty and pocked and whatnot anyway, I'm going to age the hell out of it after giving it a two-tone gold. And it still has the glowing boiler.
